Herewith a few of the cats of Rhodes. Some are clearly loved and cared for.
These two cats appear related and clearly have a home.
The cat in the first picture is walking toward the gathering in the second. These two pictures were taken at Calithea, a hot-springs resort built by Mussolini when he occupied Rhodes. The sign on the shed in the background of the last picture says "Cara Gatto" -- "Dear Cat" in Italian.
Others of the cats of Rhodes seem to be on their own. Or at least, that's how my camera caught them.
